I enjoyed it all! Great story, moral, illustrations so colorful and easy to read font too. These good causes I wish to rate this as a five star book and also to recommend it for kids ages 2-7 & or in grades P-2 or just at the stage where they are needing to hear & or be read this short story. The premise of this story is that a little boy goes to bed at night with a little-stuffed monster that his parents gave him to help him sleep. It seems that at night the little monster comes alive and he and the boy are good friends, however on this night when the monster comes alive, it's not the boy’s usual monster. It's a monster that looks like his monster but it’s not his monster.A series of events occur where the boy keeps asking these different monsters to go away and bring back my monster. Soon, it seems there are more of these monsters showing up than the boy can handle. Since I’m not looking at the book right now, I can’t remember how it all gets resolved, but the boy is finally reunited with his monster.This seems like a pretty basic bedtime story but there are probably other messages in between the lines. I thought it was really cute and was a fun story, but it did get a little confusing sometimes with all the monsters looking so similar.Not a bad bedtime story.
Small children will love this new story by Sigal Adler. It's the second one I've read by this author and I wasn't disappointed. The bright life-like illustrations are sure to keep the little ones turning pages over and over again. The entertaining tale involves a little boy named Dan who is proud to be sleeping with his stuffed monster toy. But when Dan leaves the room and returns, everything changes. This was such a sweet story. My girls always loved Monsters Inc & was never afraid of monsters . I will enjoy reading this book to my grandson , which me & grandpa have bought monster themed clothing numerous times .This story is perfect to read to little ones right before bed. Great job Ms. Adler !!!
This was a cute book but the layout wasn't so great. The writing was on one page and the picture on another. And they weren't beside each other. They were on different pages all together. My son enjoyed this book but didn't like not having pictures on every page. And by the end of it he was completely over it. And so was I. I'm disappointed with this book but it really had potential. Hence my three star rating.
Lovely illustrated story about a little boy learning to overcome his fears sleeping in his brand new first time bed with his stuffed monster given to him by his parents.
My two year old has just started sleeping by herself so bedtime stories are our new routine. I let her browse the kindle children’s section and this one really caught her eye. She LOVES monsters and this book actually kept her attention until she couldn’t keep her eyes open anymore. It’s a simple story that is easy for her to follow and will absolutely be a good book to learn reading with.
I like how this author's books rhyme throughout. The cadence of the book really keeps my daughter interested and this particular book is kind of cute. I got this book on my Kindle for 99 cents so the value was unbeatable.
